i need to no if a CR500 engine will fit into a 88 250r frame i no they fit in a 86 87 frame but not a 88 so if anyone has some info to help it would be nice!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, it will. However, don't do it. You will crack that frame to pieces and the vibratation will drive you nuts. You will constantly be tightening motor mount bolts. Many many stock frames wee destroyed by cr500 motors put in.

is their a aftermarket frame available and built for a CR500 motor?

do u no who makes it or a websit i can get one from

You can get one custom built by tigorracing.com and they can put dampners on the mounts and make them heavy duty.

Your best bet is to ride one and /or buy one built. Many people have tried this only to find out they wasted a bunch of money on an unridable quad. You'd be better off to put a 400cc packard pilot cylinder on it. I doubt the cr500 will be that much more powerfull and why would you need it that big anyway?

I'm sure anybody with a heavily ported and stroked 330/350 will tell you it's plenty fast.

the reason is bc i plan on drag racing

i know their are 350Rs that will be just as fast, if not faster then a CR500, but i think alot of people want a CR500 because it is new. Rather then have a 330 or 350r that is over 20 years old

they make a 500 kit for the r motor

buy a sabertooth they are as fast or faster then the cr500 in the sand drags

go to patriot racing dan is a great guy to deal with

just my 2 cents
