I recently bent my handlebar doing an unintended somersault (me and the quad). Any advice on replacement handlebar brands? The Handa OEM is around $50. I don't want to spend $200+, but am open to a quality relacement that is reasonable.
Thanks!

Will I have to extand any of my cables> WHat about the choke control. I have noticed no braket for this on the aftermarket models. Although I haven't actually need it yet this year.

BTW, to all of you who do not feel the need for chest protects or the like, I dislocated my collarbone cracked two ribs, and tore some muscles in my lower back during my recent accident. And, I was traveling about 2-3 MPH when I somersualted over the handlebar. I attempted to roll clear to my left, unfortunately, my quad rolled over me as I came to a sitting position.
I am convinced that a chest protector or air suit would have prevented my collarbone and rib injuries. I was trying to save money by waiting to buy one. Needless to say the loss of work, medical bills and outright pain were not worth the impled savings. I was smart enough to have a helmet and gloves thankfully!

Sorry about your crash, I always wear my chest protector too ever since my dad cracked his sternum, a few ribs, and punctured a lung.
Pro Taper is a good bar and looks cool, I believe the SE bars are around $70. There is also renthal, which is $60?(could be wrong) I believe. If you want to go the cheaper route Fly makes cheapy bars for about $30.

I'm looking for new bars too, here's a good link for specifics on bar bends per manufacture.
Let me know what you decided on. I'm a taller rider, 6'0" and need to find a good bend for me..

I got Pro Tape SE ATV high bend. I haven't installed yet.
I was able to bend the stocks habdlebars with a cheater pipe over the grip, enough to hold off putting the new bars on. I need to plen out what to do with the ignition switch and lights, first,

i ditched the stock light for sure. I'm putting the ignition switch probably on the left plastic side, and the neutral/reverse lights on the right side OR if they will fit I think it'd be cool to have the neutral/reverse lights on the gas cap plastic cover. what have other done? got pics?

Not sure what you mean by gas cap, but electricity (even low volatge)and gasoline don't sound good!

ProTaper SE Raptor bend, the plastic peice with the key and lights fit under it.. tightly.
