Has anybody tried putting a YFZ FCR carb on a 400EX? I tried searching but came up with nothing. Friend of mine got an awesome deal on one of these carbs but just need to know if it will fit? Any ideas?

Anything can fit with enough fabing.

Just do the 450r carb, its easier and there is walk thru.

I bought my 400ex and I was told it had a YFZ FCR carb on it. It is an FCR, carb but can't guarantee what it came off of. All he had to do was get a different throttle cable and just hook it all up. That's all that I can tell was done. I am having trouble figuring out all the jetting cause the jetting that comes on it is way off, if anyone knows anything about that then please help. My wheeler is a 400 with the 416 kit, stage 2 hot cam, aftermarket hi compression piston, aftermarket head/center/slipon pipe. Any ideas please help.
