What stock front shocks from bigger quads will fit my 97 300ex with a shock relocater?
Also what rear stock shocks can i use? Looking for shocks with rezzies.

well ya have a few options

up front you can use

z400 fronts
yfz 450 fronts
450r fronts
400ex fronts

and the rear you can use a 01 raptor rear shock

you can also use 250rs

how sure are you about the z400 fitting, though? they're close to 17 inches and the 400ex shocks are only 15.25.

yfz shocks would be one of the best stock replacements if you can find them for a decent price.

And these would be any year model front shocks? Also as a person with a limited budget are wideing brackets ok to use...instead of buy longer a-arms?

i wouldn't suggest the widening brackets. they look very weak and they throw off the geometry.

400ex and 250r shocks are 16.25 and Z400 and 450r shocks are 16.75. PS I have some YFZ stock shocks for sale also...

meant to put 16, my bad. and z400 shocks are 16.88. so they'd probably set your ride up a bit. i wouldn't want to, the 450r's sit it up high enough.

What about LTR450 front shocks....it says they are 17 in???
