I have a 400ex. My light bulb burnt out, i'm going to replace. I was wondering if it would be easier to take off the plastic or leave it on? Some pictures would help.

Take the front plastic off...I just changed a bulb and tried to do it without taking the plastic off, and it was a real pain. Unless someone else knows a trick to it...

You wont be saving yourself any time doing it by not taking the plastics off. It only takes a minute or less to get them off, its only 4 bolts.

I went to my dealer and asked the mechanic what he recommened. He told me just to take out the brake line bolt that is right behind the lights, then giving you more room.
