ok, traded my 02 blaster for an 03 z400, all stock except bars and billet tie rod sleeves.

looking it over..the things in awesome condition...has a few little things here and there..but thats a given.

ready for the dumb question....

how in the world do you change the oil? does it have a filter...location? what is the procedure for changin the oil on this thing...i always have owned 2 strokes so i didnt have to worry about stuff like this.

ok if you are sitting on your bike on the right hand side down by the brake and the bottom radiator hose theres a cap with 3 bolts in it the bolts look like a upside down triangle thats where your oil filter is first drain your oil from the bottom of the oil tank theres a drain plug there and then do the same under your engine theres a oil plug there also then un tighten the bolts to the oil filter take it out put new one in put plugs back in fill with oil and go

this would be a good time to pick up a manual. clymer makes a really good one for the z. they can be had on ebay for a good price. or check with the sponsors on here. a manual will be your best friend.
