Hey
I have an 04 450R and I race mx, I run 18's with stock gearing, what should I be running? The only motor work s a pipe/filter. Your input is greatly appreciated!

just go to a 15 tooth front sprocket to get your top end speed back.

ok thats pointless if he races mx. but anyway it all has to do with the track. if its spaced out you'll be fine on stock. if its in the middle between spaced out and tight you'll be fine with a 39-40 rear. if its a tight track then a 13/38, 13/39.

with a 14 38 gearing i run out of gears wayyyyy to fast. Even on a tight track.

I run 13/36 on my 04.. Same as Natalie did wit his 05.. On a big track I run like 3rd-4th gear.. 2nd-3rd on somethin tight..
