I have a 05 400ex and right now i have a hmf slip on k&n air filter and jetted i was thinkin about puttin in a stage 1 hot cam how much of a difference would it make would it be worth it and also would i need a bigger carb. I also heard that u need to get a high compression pison to have the full affect of the cam but i don't want to bor my bike out any. Thanks for ur help.

High compression pistons are available in stock bore size but the cylinder will need to be honed, a fairly inexpensive job.
