what parts will a 86' LT250R and a 88' LT250R interchange??? I have an 86 and want to rebuild but lots of parts are discontinued for it so ya...and is there any way you can get an 88' motor into a 86' frame???? Please help!!!!

everything will interchange besides the motor, front suspension, and frame. i have a 86 too and its getting a whole rebuild for mx. a later year motor will bolt it but the front down bar has to be cut and split so the pipe can run threw. if i was you i would put a lt500r motor in it. im thinking of doing that next rebuild or when i kill my motor. the lt500r motor is almost a bolt in besides a few minor mounts.

So if I was to buy a 88 frame and motor and exhuast...every thing else on my 86 would come off it and go on the 88??
