Well last week the temp was in the 60s and 70s and the quad would start on the first time but this week its been in the 20s and 30s and the quad was really hard to start, is this a problem or is it just normal.

Whats your jetting specs? hows it running?

I think you just need a new battery or charge it up.

I just bought a new battery and it only does it when its cold.

agreed...

after changing, you can likely remove the choke..

i was able to start without a choke when it was in the low teens around here in January..
