do you guys think i 7 year old could handle a blaster?

ride yes handle no

Most of it depends on mental maturity. The rest is about his/her physical size.

I know 30 year olds that cant be trusted on a 50cc, lol.

can they even work the clutch

Posted by: BlaineKaiser450

I think so. I started riding a 250x when I was 9

im guessing he could cruse around in 1st gear, but the front brake is a little hard to pull.

I think a blaster would be way to fast and a death wish for a 7 year old. Some sort of 90cc would be best imo.

nah man but really blaster are pretty fast and i am 15 and still ride my blaster but i am selling it to get a 450-r if anyone is interseted its a 04 all decked out for 2500. Have him go for like a 125 utility or a 90cc sport

HUGE difference between a 9yr old and a 7yr old. (2nd grader vs. 4th grader). I work with them every day.

I would have to give a big NO.. on that one.

7yr olds should be on a 50cc. 9yr olds on a 90cc. 12yrs minimum IMHO would be a good age to think about a blaster/300ex style quad.

Here's a test for you. When the child can lift up the quad by the grab bar and hold it 6 inches off the ground for 30 seconds.. then they are strong enough to ride it.

If not.. then you are asking for trouble. Corner to fast.. it 2 wheels. They can't hold it up like we can.. so it crushes them.

no......plain and simple////i have a friend whos 12 and can barely hang onto a 250ex so a 7 year old on a blaster is obserd

NO get him a trx 90 or predator then in a couple of years they can have the experience to be able to handle a bigger quad.
