I bought a lightened flywheel for my R and I dont have a stock one to compare it too. I was just curious to know how much weight has been shaved off of mine compared to stock.

Can anyone tell me how much a stock flywheel weighs?

i have an 86trx wheel that weighs 2lb. 4 oz. the 85 atc may be lighter yet. the 88-89 i believe are the same as each other but heavier than the 86-87.timing is different also.

Havent got my engine together yet.. so I havent had a chance to test the CDI or stator. I will let you know if something is wrong once I get it all together and do the OHMS test.

Timing is different? So what happens if you use an 85-86 flywheel with a later model CDI or vice versa???
