Yeh i know this is a honda sight and all but im looking to get a yamaha dirtbike. Choices being YZ125 and a YZF250. Since a lot of people dont go to the non honda folder i posted it hear. If anyone seen or has experience with either one of these machines can you give me an opinion between the two?

I think i might can help with the yz125 I just sold mine to buy raptor I have ridden the yzf250 once awsome bike it is faster
than 125 but not as quick real torque but 2 strokes rule and fourstrokes drool
on mx track. you have Quicker out of turns with a little feather of the clucht and your gone I would say if you like 2 strokes
go with the 125 4 strokes go the other way I will tell you this
the 2 stroke will need way more tlc than yzf 250 you could race the yzf250 a whole year and never touch the motor
but over all there pretty equal. (except yzfs a ***** to crank)

Why don't go for the best of both worlds and get a yz195 3 stroke?

they run on streight oil right
no mixing no gas just add oil
smoke alot though
