Z doesnt start

My quad will not start unless it is pushed off. If I ride it for a while I can turn it off and it will start right back up but if i wait a few minutes it will need to be pushed or pulled off again. My starter is okay and so is my spark plug. Is there maybe sensor on it, that doesnt let it start or something?

Do you mean it will just crank and not start or it won't even turn over? Time for a new battery?

Starter works fine.
