I recently purchased a Polaris Scrambler 500. While riding one of the 1st few times i hit a 18" deep water hole a little to fast and the machine bogged right down. It took about 45 minutes to clear up. The whole time I could start it, but when throttled it just bogged down. I had to limp home 2 miles. I want to try to find out the cause so that I can correct it. If you have any info please get back to me. I have also recently washed the machine and had the same issue.
Thank you

you more than likely have a hole in the clutch cover you are geting the belt wet

I know the belts get wet. But my brother in law had one. Eveytime it got into some water it bogged. Crappy wiring harnesses. They get wet and bog the motor. He took it to the shop and they found the problem. Look for rips and open wires. It is a cool quad so dont be discouraged. His was fun! Check the wiring!!!!
