well i have been throwin around the idea of puttin a 250R hood or some kinda of hood on my stock plastic.. so can u post some pics of them on ur bike so i can see wat i like... i would realy appreciate ur help.. thanks alot... and if u can will u post some pics of how it fits around the tank.. like if there is any gaps... thanks

Hey i got a stock 400ex with the frog headlights and stuff...well i dont want the headlights there anymore...i want to get a hood with the scoop and stuff....can i just take out the headlights and buy that hood and snap it on...or do i have to make modifications and stuff by cutting and drilling?

I got it from quadtech a long time ago so I'm not sure on the price. C@D Racing I believe is a quadtech dealer also, call either of them for prices.

you have to actually cut the headlight piece off and drill some mount holes up front to put most hoods on.

slice it & dice it!! just mounted a maier c/f 450r scooped hood on my 2000 400ex tonite(thanks to roscopikotrain & his pics)turned out great!!! just take your time & it will work out fine!
