Whats the point to cutting your plastics or buying racing plastics other than looks? It cant save that much weight, and i just dont get it. I personally think it looks awesome and I have the race plastics but i just dont know the point....Anybody know the real reason?

Mud sticks to plastic, which does add alot of weight.

You can see how close you are getting to an object. Visibility, thats the biggest one I think.

most riders like to see where their front wheels are tracking, thats the reason i've heard a lot and i would say this does help since i run race plastic i fell like i can put my wheels easier in a better line.

one of the biggest benifits I have found is that the quad is more stable when jumping in windy conditions.

I bought them just for looks. It is nice to have more visibility around your quad too but I don't ever think I have looked down at my front tires while I was riding.

Do you guys trail ride with your cut fenders?

If you do, do you get covered in mud?

I would assume so, the stockers don't do very well to begin with. Cut that ****.

Actually it is the opposite for me. i have found since i put the race cuts on it i have gotten less muddy.

on turns, yes i get a little dirtier since one of the tires is actually aiming right at you. other than that, i think i actually stay a little bit cleaner.. especially my feet.
