What causes it to stall??

Its and ltz 400 thats been jetted and piped, no engine work done. You can start it up and it will idle fine, then you ride it around and pull in the clutch to slow down and it just stalls out? You can start it right back up and it will idle fine. Any ideas on why it would do this. Thanks, Brady

Check the float height in the carb. If you don't know how to do this go buy a SHOP MANUAL! Ray.
