i go and start my 05yfz 450 and it starts great,,soon as i give it gas the idle stays that high,checked the cable from thumb to throttle,,,do you know what it could be ?

Try lubing your cable or replacing it.

If that doesn't work which it probably will check your throttle body for sand because thats what happened to my blaster when I had it.
