stock bike, yamalube 24:1 or 32:1
i would think 24:1 becaus ts more oil

i was think i might just make my own ratio
i have a gas can that holds 15 liters
so ill fill that up to 13.5 liters and put 16 oz yamalube in it
that would make it like 30:1 or something because it says that if you mix 16 oz of yamalube with 15.12 liters of gas that equals 32:1
24:1 is 21 oz of yamalube with 15.12 liters
so 13.5 with 16oz would be close to 28:1 or 30:1

as for ratio to mix I would go 32:1

My first 2 tanks where 24:1 and I failed 2 sets of plugs. Then I jumped to 32:1. Works alot better. I ran if like that for 2 years before my rebuild and the piston stil looked like new. I just rebuilt it to rebuild it. Then I ran 32:1 for the last 3 years and the engine still runs strong.

I Have a 03 shee I use Klotz 32:1 that what it says to use for liquid cooled 24:1 for air cooled

if you talk to any dealer they will tell you that Yamaha recomends 32-1............and that is what i have aways run

Anywhere from 32:1 - 40:1 is good, no need to run 24:1.

It won't hurt it, no. But it will rob a little bit of performance.

I run the same mixture...So does everyone i ride with.
