i see some guys running 400ex long travel on 300exs with 16in shocks. how is that setup? and am i correct on what i saw 400ex long travel a arms with stock 400ex travel 16in shocks?

I just got some jb racing long travel a-arms ( 400ex kit from hetricks) with elka long travel shocks (400ex) from talking to elka i don't tink you can put a 400ex stock shock on longtravel suspension. The kit is not installed yet .

This set up works fine. I always thought that running the 400ex LT shock was overkill. You will prolly want to get your shocks set up for this set up for the best ride.

Those shocks should measure 19.25 im pretty sure.

I bought 300ex geometry LT a-arms instead of mixing model's up. You can get LT 300ex a-arms for the same price if not cheaper than LT 400ex a-arms, and the geometrys right. But I have my GDH LT +3.5s for sale if anybody wants em.

can i run 400ex +2+1 arms with stock shocks and a relocator bracket, or can i run lt 400ex arms and eliminate the bracket and just use std lenght 400 shocks

My son runs Herrman racing 400ex +3 LT a-arms and 19" PEP triple rate LT shocks.

i have stock 250r a arms with 17'' trs from a z400 & relocator,either way you have to use the relocator,works awsome.kevin

we run 400ex +2 burgard a arms on my sons and used our 15" pep shocks off of our old blaster and did not have to use the bracket.
