WELL MY 300EX IS NOT CHARGING IT WILL LAST ABOUT A TANK OF GAS THEN IT STARTSN LOSING POWER THEN WONT CRANK OVER I HAVE CHARGED IT ONCE AND IT WORKED JUST FINE 4 A LITTLE WHILE SO WAT KIND OF CHARGIN SYSTEM DOES IT HAVE AND ABOUT HOW MUCH DOES IT COST 2 GET REBUILT

i would get a motor off ebay.

it has a stator and a rectifier check the wires by the battery the connections may be bad

man i might sound like and idiot i am noy good with electrical but were all do i need 2 check 4 connections i went down and looked at everything seems prety good but can u help me

that link is to a schematic the rectifier is #6 check the connections there you can see if its charging with a volt meter then at the battery should have between 13 and 14.5 volts while running. might have to rev it up slghtly
