Recently my 400 started to back fire on decelaration. It only does it when i run a gear all the way out and then take my hand off the gas. If i run a gear half way then let go it doesnt back fire. Does anyone know the cause and is this something i should worry about

backfire on decel is a lean condition. may want to check your pilot to make sure there is no dirt in it at all.This is if you haven't done any recent mods. have you also had any temp changes?

Your no doubt lean, turn your air/fuel screw out some.

mine backfires only when i open it all the way up and my plug looks perfect, i no it looks more rich then lean

you want a very little backfire but not too much, just mess around with ur main jet.
