I'm at St. Joe just about every weekend. Several buddies are going riding at St. Joe next weekend (Nov 2). There should be plenty of dragging going on. There will be a DS650 Ron Woods stage 3 with 20 hp shot NOS that will be there if anyone wants to take a shot at him.

Bean...I finally got the EX back and got it started today. Still have some jetting issues but won't be able to do much more until I get a area to open it up some to see which way to go on the mains. It is starting way easier than it did when Rick Jones had his hands on it. Ritter fixed it up the this last time. I'm going to Lil Sahara next weekend.

Jay

Ritter is a good guy, good luck with that Ex, u need some ridin time on it, lol, enjoy lil sahara

Hello everyone,
I am getting ready to purchase my first atv within the month. After doing my research, I have decided to get a new 400ex. Out of curoisty, is st. Joes park open all year, or does it close during the winter months. I look foward to many years of fun on my 400ex. See you out on the trails.

You have met me before down there about 1 month ago you needed some filter oil for your 250R...

I already raced your cousin's "R" rider11 was riding it..

I probably will be there 11/9/02 because it may be the last warm day we get this year to ride..

By the way you and your cousin both have nice looking 250R's

See Ya
Mike

Posted by: Bean

im not sure if it is open in the winter months, or if they allow snowmobliles in the winter, go to the front desk, where u get your ticket and pay and all, and ask the staff about it, sometimes it is closed for races, and that sorta thing down there, or if it floods, etc

o ya, i remember you and your 400 now mike, i watched it run a few times, she is very fast, btw, my R didnt hav an airfilter prob, like i expected, the needle broke at the clip and dropped down into the main, how did his R run against ur 400?

thanx for the complements mike, later

Posted by: Rider#11

it beat me...on the first run and on the 2nd run i screwed up on the start it was in 2nd when i though it was in first..lol errrrr

Whatched a guy do an endo on his raptor trying to jump a burm...the guy was OK just a little embarrased.. but not as embarrased as he was after telling me my POS 400 wouldnt stand a chance against his raptor on a drag race and then i beat him by 3 quads..

Posted by: Bean

I live South of St. Louis. We go to St. Joes about once to twice a month. Great all around place to ride. Plenty of trails and nice flats for you to open up your quads and blow the carbon out. :blah

Posted by: Bean

yes, there were a few fast bikes down there the 16th, a Tecate/kx 500 hybrid that broke, a TT 250r that broke, a Zilla that lost to a Paul Turner banshee, and the assortment of Raptors, 400ex's, etc

Posted by: Rider#11

yep sure was...fun some of those guys couldnt keep up with me and bean though..lol its ok

Posted by: Bean

Posted by: Ponm

Well, I finally did it, or finally convinced my wife to allow me to get the quad. I got a 03 400ex(yellow) last night and I look foward to many years of good riding. I thought I got a pretty good deal on it(5000 dollars OTD) Hopefully in a few weeks I can head down to St. Joes for some riding. Does anybody have a suggestion for what size trailer is good to carry two quads on.? I was thinking a 6x12 trailer would be nice.
-scott

Posted by: crazyatvn

that is a good sixe yoju can fit 2 bike end to end or 3 sideways. I wish i had a 6x12 i have a 6x10 only 2 bikes fit

Posted by: Bean

6x12 will leave a bit of extra room for gear and coolers and such, thats what size i would get, enjoy st joes, its to cold for me

Posted by: Moded86R

I can't wait till I get my R togother.I want to race to!

Posted by: crazyatvn

I USED TO HAVE AN 86 R WITH BIG BORE VERY NICE BIKES I WISH I STILL HAD IT

Posted by: Bean

i could never get rid of my R, to much love put into my baby to sell it now, and i love 2strokes
