How to get those scratches out of yellow plastic??

Hi, i have yellow 400 that the plastic has seen better days.

Because of the rideing conditions, there is alot of scratches all

over the front and back plastics. I was wondering if any one has

any ideas on how to get these scratches out? With a rubbing

compound or anything like that? thanks

theres a method involving a blowtorch out there. you just hold it at an angle at a good distance away so your not burning it just making it shiny again. sombody else might know more about that method

Yeah, i can see how that would work. Thanks for the idea. if i dont get any outher ideas i think i will give that a try.
