yes the decompression plug...
theres not 1 on the 05....

the pegs are a little lower on the 05 too...

The swingarm got some kind of improvement, they don't get the X crack over the rear shock linkage that the 04's had trouble with.

The stator is different, but I am not sure it fixed anything.

I think it also had different levers, break, clutch, shifter, and rear break.

You could probaby search the yfz thread for "changes" and "05" and get some good info.

I think the rear break reservoir is mounted higher up the frame. away from rocks etc
