I am looking to build a hybrid and I want to go with a 250 dirtbike engine. How hard would it be to put a crf250 engine in a 400ex frame? Also anyone know if i could use a 04 subframe on a 01 frame?

Does anyone have pictures of one done like this?

i had seen that...he has been trying to sell that a long time...nice looking quad but it might take a while to find a buyer to pay that...id buy one but i am interested in building my own...im in a engineering class at a vocational school and am thinking about designing a custom frame off of a 400ex geometry stock frame...

Everyone thought it was such a great idea and everyone said how they would love to have one. I have had a TON of intrest in the quad. I have had even more compliments on it. If you are interested in the motor, I'll sell you the motor, carb and wiring. Im going to drop a CRF450 back in it.

im definetely interested...how much...also how many hours are on the motor and is there any work done to it...and that is another thing i wanted to know what is the power comparable to?

Motor has around 10hrs on it. The carb is new. The power compares to a built 400. Make me an offer on the motor, carb and wiring. farmbig_01@hotmail.com

Okay...umm i might be a noob here... but why would you want to put a CRF250 motor in it when you could put a 450 motor in it... if anything.. your 400 would be faster then a 250 in there.

Umm no. The stock 250 will be about like a built 400.
