The left front shock off a 450er will fit on the rear or the 250ex will need to add a couple washer/ placer but it does fit

so ur saying it DOES fit? how does it ride and how hard was it to install?

Did you have to cut for the rezzy? Also hoes doe sit ride, because im assuming since I have to have my fronts revalved for my weight to be on the front, and your trying to put it on the rear. I dont think the stock set up would work good. But let me know.

does it make t any taller?

something needs to be said about all of these shock swaps off other makes/models, especially the front-to-rear ones.

any time you take a shock that was designed for X setup and put it on the back of Y setup you potentially run into the risk of certain problems. The valving could be now too small for the shock to handle. The leverage point will also change.

Some of you could probably care less but if you run a shock that wasn't valved accordingly you run the risk of blowing the shock itself.

The shock is off my 450er shock has been revalve by GT Thunder and has longer stroke than stock i made 2 spacers for the top mount that are 1/4" thick. the bottom mount you need one washer. uses the same dia bolts shock is a little longer but is softer so ride height is the same. rezzie has plenty of room. have not ridden quad yet with it mount.

left or right front shock?

Posted by: pitcrew14

sitting on the bike i used the left front shock might beable to use right front shock but you wouldn't beable to get to the dampering adjustment because it would be faceing the airbox

oh ok tell me who the shock rides when you get a chance
