What is this shock/swingarm off of?

I have a parts bike and this shock and swingarm was on it. The bike is a 1987 250x. Is this the stock shock and swingarm? I was going to put the shock on my 02 300EX but the bottom mount on the shock and swingarm is different. The name on the shock is Showa HA5-671. Would it be worth it to switch swingarms and shock? I am just looking for a better ride on my 300EX.

I'd say it's a swing arm and shock from a 1985 Honda 350x 3 wheeler

its a 86 350x swing arm because it has the same rear brake stop as the 250r. it will be a great upgrade for ur 300ex

Id take the 350x swinger /shock off and put a stocker back on. They just dont have the right angle/geometry for a decent ride. Use a 300ex shock for better ride and a 250x for mx. It is valved stiffer.

the 350x swing arm and shock has to be one of the best up grades for a 300ex. it is stiffer but much more travel and its longer. it help so much on the track.

Do you feel like it is better than just putting to 01 raptor shock on my bike? I really don't race but ride some track and rough trail riding. I found the shock for 70 bucks.

if ur only riding trail and some track time i woild use the raptor shockl. i race and ride trail but vary frast to the point that im in 3rd or 4th taped out.

Since you allready have the 350x swinger use it! its about 1 1/2" longer.. for the bouncy shock feel buy an trx250r rear spring and replace it with that... i like that set up alot
