i polished mine on my kx, and it looks like a mirror, just sand it, and get it smooth, then polish away

pm chriswaters he would know how to do it

Chris Waters did both of my sidecases. They came out very, very nice and would do it all over again if I could.

i just grab some supreme brillo pads and rub with paint thinner till i get to the aluminum then i polish it up with Mothers Chrome polish and it turns out AWESOME

go and get some aircraft stripper from wal mart or checker and just put it on what you want to polish, it will take all the finish off of the metal so all you have to do is rinse it off and polish. stuff works great and it doesn't hurt the metal.

Chris Waters does some awesome work! If you want a really really nice job done then go to him, but if you want to do it yourself then go for it.
