my quads screwed up

today i was trying to ride my TRX250EX but i noticed the back wheels where locked up and the back tires were dragging when i was riding i havent rode in like a weeks and when i try starting it up it backfired any help?

it's hard to tell but, is your chain in good condition? if you raise the quad off the ground do the rear wheels spin when it's in neutral?

It dosen't have a chain.
So it ran fine then you put it away for a week or more and now it just backfires and the rear wheels are locked up?
Sounds like maybe the clutch is welded together.

ya sounds like somethings froze up or something..maybe if u towed it with somewith and sat on it and got weight o nthe back that the tires would come loose and roll or something

it only backfired once but thats normal for my quad when its cold but i still dont get the tire problem

Does it run at all? Sounds like maybe the clutch is froze. Is it in nuetral?

yea it runs fine its just that problem i was having and theres not clutch well there is but i dont need to use it its sportclutch

rocks get in my foot lever all the time do u change the gear oil in the rear end the lubricates the shaft as well

If it only dose this when it's in gear then it's something with your rearend. Likely frozen bee careful i've herd of people blowing the rear end when the brakes were frozen by giving it gas trying to break it free. Put it in nuetral and lify the rearend up and drop it a couple time and the see if it will roll. If it's frozen sometimes that can free it up.
