Anyone race at Byron Illions?

Fat400 went to Byron Illions Sunday for a race and took some video of it. It looked like an awsome track! :devil I am going to go over there with him in a couple of weeks to race it myself.
Just wondering if anyone here races there?

i don't race there yet but i am next spring. i woulda raced there last season but i crashed my quad and had to spend my race money to fix it. it is a cool track

I really want to make it to Byron though. I am going to race at Walnut on the 13th of October. You guys thinking about it? October 6th Galesburg is gonna have a race. You guys should come over for it. Any pictures of Byron's track?

He took some video of it, I don't know about any pics. Does any of these other places and Byron have a web site?
It will be the end of October before we get to go over there again. Fat400 in points race at Waterloo, so he needs to run the last 3 races. The last race is on the 13th, so probably the weekend after that.

Fun track. They ride it in the reverse direction in the late season. (Currently running that way.) Lots of tabletops, not many doubles or triples.

the haloween race is always a blast i'm thinkin about racin in it this year but it scares me a little

Will that be the 27th of Oct or the 3rd of Nov?

I am always nervous going to a new track. Last weeks race only had 6 quads, 1 A rider and 5 B riders. At least with a small number like that if you make a mistake you don't have to worry about a stampeed.
Sounds like I better get on the stick and get my AMA card.

there are a lot more quads there in the spring for the nuclear series...but this time of year theres not too many out there.. i'm not sure of the date of the halloween race..

I am not sure which date is the Halloween race, but I am sure that I am going on the 27th no matter what. If my quad is not back together by then I am at least going to walk the track and race on the 3rd.

There is a big xc race called "The Race" in Morrison on the 26th. I 'm planning on trying that out. Normally it has a 20 mile loop that is done 3 to 4 times. If you a definitely racing the 3rd on November, then I'm going to try and make that one. Keep us posted.
