Here is my situation, I've got a 06 YFZ450 and my step father has a 07 YFZ450. Only thing i want is to beat him hands down up the hill in the dunes, and he wants the same. Kind of got a competition thing going. Right now he has the upper hand. #1 He has more money to spend on updrades and #2 He also has a mechanic friend who is giving him little secrets to make his bike faster. Im looking for any ideas as to how i can upgrade/ tweak my bike, and cost efficient too.

Upgrades on my bike include.
GYTR header
LRD pipe
Fuel customs intake
scary fast
alba cdi box

Upgrades on step father bike include,
full yoshi exhaust
hot cams
Fuel customs intake
scary fast

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

you could make the bike lighter, takein of the lights or any thing else you dont need, make it a kick start you can lose 10 pounds with out the batery. put a jet kit on dyno jet has a great one

Do the cam mod and dont tell him lol. Should surprise him! also i would invest in some nitrous if you want cheap power
