i just got a seat cover and the staple i got aint going threw the plastic they are 5/16 8mm brand:arrow point tip staples what kind should i get?

Hey man, If you don't have an air driven staple gun, good luck. As far as the length of staples, I wouldn't use anything over a 3/8". I prefer to use a 1/4" staple because you don't want the staple to eat away at the rubber. The new yamaha's and honda's are terrible for that. Also you want the cover to be warm. Use maybe a hair dryer or if you have access to a heat gun or a steamer that would be a big plus. If you have anymore problems let me know. Thanks, Mark Baity-CCR
