hey ive heard that a 350x motor will mount up 2 a 300ex is this true and if it is wat do all i need 2 make it run like carb wiring harness and wat other thing would i need 2 make it run right

im almost complete with my swap.. ive got the bottem end in the frame.. you have to cut about 2 1/4 inch of the top rear mount and build a spacer to accomadate the gap there is... then the exhaust so far what ive read is you have to cut the stock header for the 350x and add 2inchs of material to get around the frame rail... stock 250x wiring works with an 350x cdi or 350x wiring... its rather simple im waitng for my head to come back i had it ported a little. i want to get a cam because when i was riding the trike around it had wayyyy more bottem end then i really want... if you got to buy a 350x motor and you hear a valve train nock stay away...... 9 times out of ten the cam journals are shot leaving you with a useless head or COSTLY repairs
