SWEET LOOKING QUAD

Posted by: BuiltBlaster88

Aw hell dude, that just drives me nuts seeing that thing and then seeing mine about 70% together on the saw horses in the shop. Your white powder coat has really grown on me and looks just outstanding...excellent job on the build..10/10

Posted by: 800screws

from the look of the snow outside i doubt u have gotten on it yet...but if u did, what do u think of the 444 big bore kit. i heard those engines weren't to fond of throwing a bigger piston in them. revved way slower...
have u noticed a difference?

Posted by: hontrx265r

I had a 444 in mine before, It was lower compression, and I liked it, thought it reved fine. I later switched back to a 426 with 13:5:1, and found that set up to be equally as good if not better.

Posted by: hontrx265r

By the way the houser looks excellent, you did a great job. I'm sure as soon as that snow melts it will be *** kicking time. Mine will be done in a week or two. luckily no snow in phoenix!!

Posted by: sandthrower

ur quad is Fing sweat man

About ur seat cover were cab i find one .
I have looked at quad tech site and they no longer list parts for the R.

Posted by: hontrx265r

DFR makes the exact same seat cover or jettrim. It doesn't have the quadtech logo, but other then that its identical. I just bought one from DFR and its top notch, very happy with it. google, dirt fiend racing

thanks hontrx265r

Nice!!
The perfect quad!!

Beautyful bike!

Is the exhaust for a yz426f or a YFZ? I'll be ordering one for mine but I would like to start with one that is close to fitting correctly.

wow

SICK!

Posted by: xrxmxcx

thanks guys!

the pipe is a modded yfz pipe, full yoshi system...

timoly chains and sprockets came in today, need to pick up some more jets for it to get it dialed in, tried starting it and it was running a little lean so i need to bump up from a 182 main and 45 pilot to probably a 50 pilot and 190 main but i will be tinkering with it all weekend till its running good, and a little rich while its being broken in...

Posted by: xrxmxcx

thanks for the great reply's guys, some interesting... but good nevertheless

recently we have changed a few small things on the quad, carb mods (stealth racing mixture screw and accelerator pump) and getting it dialed in, but everything is going great and this thing has some serious power!

also if i could ask, show your support in the voting for march qotm! up against the "all mighty" production bikes

Posted by: KingpinsEx

Thats one of the sickest hybrids i have ever seen!! Looks like a pro calibur ride, very nice job....
