i dont know if it would be bad for the machine, i dont think so, but you will wanna turn the gas off otherwise your gonna have a truck bed full of gas and a quad without any

haha ok thanks for the info...

its not really bad for the quads...all you have to do is turn off the gas..and if its really full drain some of it out......like if its over half full..

to store my quads i have to stand one up so the other fits behind it. just like everyone said i just shut off the gas and its fine.

it shouldnt leak oil

ive stood mine up many a times to haul it around. load it up overnight and take off in the morning, standing up the whole time. just turn the fuel off. when you unload it, make sure you let it sit for a good 10 or 15 mins so the oil drains back down into the crank case.

Weve stacked them 3 at a time in the bed of a pickup truck before, just turn the gas off and as yfz450ridr said let it sit for a while so the oil has a chance to drain back in to the case and you should be fine.

Yeah on my Z400 in the owners manual standing it up like that is one of the ways listed to put them on the back of a truck. you dont have to turn off the gas on a Z400 because it does not leak but i know that a 400ex and pretty much any honda sport quad does so you need to turn off the gas
