well i finally got around to makin em. on the pic that has a blue circle is where i had to grind some of the peg down so the bolt would fit. u can see how the corner of the peg is gone. this is a necessary modification u have to do. it makes takin the pegs on and off so much easier

no comments about the weld. its all i have. not tig welder for me. anyways whos gonna see the weld

Posted by: Live2Ride300

Looks awesome man, alot cheaper then the roll design pegs, and just as good, you should weld a kickup on it, that would be sweet. Nice set up. Do you have a pic of the top of them?

Posted by: Pappy

Sry to say bro, but daym...I could weld better than that blind folded,I don't care if it was a Mig or ARC welder..

Sry,just wanted to say..hehe

But what did you use? a 6013?6010?waht kinda rod?I am thinkign about doing the same, but I think I'll try a 7024 rod...or have a buddy MIG it up for me...

anyways, post a pic of them babies mounted

P.S. Looks good, and also a TIG Welder is Aluminum, and MIG is Steel, gott it?

Posted by: user101

i plan on puttin kickups on there but hadnt made them yet

Posted by: kc 300EX

Thats pretty kool! Is that possible on a 300EX?? I know the pegs are totally different, but Im curious, think its possible? or easy actually?

Posted by: user101

i will post a pic of em tomarrow

Posted by: Live2Ride300

How did they come out?

Posted by: honda400exrider

my brother did that in less than 1/2 hour and it worked awesome. instead of the welding, he took my old peg, removed the mount, and drilled two holes connecting the stock pegs. then he placed a 4 bolts going trough them alltogether and held very nicely, also looked very trick, but i think propegs works better, just because bigger treads.... until they wear lol, looks good man.

Posted by: Live2Ride300

That sounds sweet honda400exrider. Got a pic?

Posted by: honda400exrider

ill try to get 1. he sold it but the kid lives around here so ill try to get a pic....

Posted by: honda400exrider

Castor there are a lot of less expensive plasma cutters out there, and most will work great if not used constantly. If your interested in a "cheap new one" drop me a pm.
