I am not getting any spark on my lt230s. I have the plug out and lying on the frame (sanded it down to make contact with bare metal) what can I do to find out where the problem is? I also took apart the run switch. Does the circuit need to be opened or closed in order to run? I tried both ways and no spark.Also is the voltage regulator the only place it is grounded? I tried sanding down the contacts on that too, thinking it may have been a bad ground.

check the cdi... i had the problem with mine when i first got it.. you can prolly find one on ebay fairly cheap

The CDI looks pretty new, is there any way of testing it?

IM NOT SURE ON THAT... how about your stator is that good? you could probally use a voltage tester and see if its producing enough current...

I got it running the run switch was bad so I just too it out
