Asking questions for a friend. Has a 434 resleeve big bore. Got it before the aftermarket cylinder kits came out years ago. has head gasket problems. Has tried numerous fixes. Can you over bore the stock cylinder at all, and have it re nikasil coated? Is there not enough matial on the cylinder wall between the water jackets? I know the 450r guys do the honda like that. but we didn't know why/why not on the z400. Thanks for the help

Check out advantage cycle's website they sell gasket kits specifically for the big bore kits

i can't remeber what special high compression gasket he used, but he said it is now discontinued. but i will check this out thanks

Call Millineum at 920-892-2109 about the bore & replate. It's less than $200.00 & if you put the 434 12.5 CP Piston in it it will be a BIG difference. Also, Cometic can handle ANY gasket needs you have. Ray.
