Posted by: KP's lil'300

hey 400ex127,
how much would it cost to powdercoat the piece, that holds the clutch and parking brake assembly to the handlebars, silver. again nice work.
KP

Hey Kenny, how much would it cost to powdercoat: frame, tires, plastics, bolts, piston, engine, shock covers, swingarm, a-arms, seat, handlebars, cam, airbox, grips, rims, steerig stem, headlights, all skid plates? (hope i didnt forget anything ):devil

Posted by: DMC mx400ex

ahahahha, u cant powcercoat things like a seat or airbox,, it has to be metal,,, and why would u powderocat a piston...it would probably be worse....

Posted by: L.Vegas400

what about valves, grips, fuel line, chain, inside of header pipe, brake rotors, battery, piviot bearings, headlight lenses, silencer, and what about my googles.:blah

Posted by: kicken250x

yea you did forget something...the engine oil! what were you thinking that is the most important thing to get PC'ed

Posted by: Live2Ride300

Kenny, those heat shields look awesome man, nice work

dont forget to powdercoat ur chain and sprockets,

well...do to all the small moving parts it would be very difficult getting the powder where ya need it and off the parts ya dont want it on. if someone has one for me to try...send it...im always lookin for practice stuff.

Posted by: Pappy

oh yeah....the main reason i dont quote pricing is because it depends on the part...what color or colors you want...the age of the part and its condition....etc. in this pic...it took me ten minutes to "coat " those pieces....but i have close to 3 hours in sand blasting and stripping them.

Posted by: KP's lil'300

well it is just one piece that is on the back of the handelbars, that has two bolts that go through it. sorry that i dont know what it is called, but i just want it to be silver instead of black. it is off of a 2002 so you probably wouldnt have to clean or strip it too much.
KP

ps: it is shaped like a C, sorry again thanx

Posted by: KP's lil'300

ok in the last picture that you posted the thing that im trying to tell you is directly to the left of the R in rubbermaid.sorry for the game of sherades (sp). but id want it done in silver or chromeish (sp) color. thanks
KP

Posted by: kxrider

how much would it cost for me to get my a-arms done, red, if i sanded them, and everything before i sent them

Posted by: KP's lil'300

pm me your address and ill send it out tommorow. along with five bucks with your name on it
KP

Posted by: Pappy

you can only safely powdercoat aftermarket a arms. its because you cant remove the ball joints. i know it has been done..but i wont do them. i have painted a few sets for guys tho.
