Heres a video of my brother and another guy hill climbing..

Lets see some more pics. Where do you guys park when you ride there? I would like to try that spot. I have been to Frackville PA (ac/dc hillclimb is what the locals call it.) which looks like the same kind of riding, we stay at the Inn at 81 and the trails start right there behind the hotel.
Posted by: DE400EX
Theres a baseball feild right across the street we parked at, no one bother are stuff and we didnt see any cops, a local guy was ridin with us and he just said not ride on the road a whole lot cause the cops will give you a ticket...
Posted by: GraphicDisorder
When are we going again
Posted by: DE400EX
Whenever... You got to ride the trails with us next time..
When you guys left we went back and checked out some cool stuff in the woods and all...

I remember you, you have a 450r too, right? You missed an awesome day of riding yesterday, the hills were sweet

I want to ride here soon. Have some questions.
For all of you that have been here recently, do you have a pass to ride there? Does anyone bother you if you dont?
Also, what tires do you like for the hills. I have razrs, but there getting pretty low in the back.
Posted by: WickedQuad
I think its a ride and don't be stupid kind of thing, or you might be able to buy a permit.
But as for tires, coal does not make for good traction, so you want a tire to make up for that fact.
The mechanic I deal with is slapping ITP Mud Lites on my BigBear 400 to ride the trails in this area.
Hope this helps!
Posted by: trx520chk
The best tires for climbing the hills are paddle tires, I run Aerospeeds, a friend of mine runs paddle masters and they work awesome. If you don't want to go with the paddle tires or plan on doing a lot of trail riding, Holeshot GNCC's hook up really good, or Holeshot XCRs.
See ya at the hill
Posted by: GraphicDisorder
I ran GNCC's last time I was out there and hooked up great. There are alot of people out there riding on basically stock tires though and getting around ok.
No permit or anything needed to ride out there, no pass nothing like that. No cost either.
Posted by: Barrymaxx
Sounds good. Im going to be riding there this summer. Matbe making it a 2 day trip. drive there, ride, sleep, ride, drive home. That kind of thing.
Maybe ill see some of you there.
