how much oil does a 300ex need?????

Check the book that comes with the quad. If you just need to know how much to buy then i'd say 2 quarts. I like to have some laying around in case its low. Nothing like getting ready to ride and finding out you have to run and get oil.

oil change- 1.64 quarts (250X-1.69)

oil & filter change- 1.69 quarts (250X- 1.80)

engine disassembly- 2.11 quarts (250X-same)
