Alright, got an 04 Preddy w/ a big bore kit, CDI and a whole list of stuff on it. The problem is, the battery is always dead and we gotta pull start it. You can take the battery off, charge it and it'll start a couple times before its wiped out. The battery is brand new. I know the high compression and CDI make starting an extra chore too, jetting is right on the money. Ride it for hours, shut it off and it's still dead.
Questions is, can you test a stator? My guess is it isn't working but I'm not sure how to test it. Any ideas beyond the stator? Maybe a weak starter contributing to the problem as well?
Thanks y'all!

pull start = drag behind running machine until it starts
