I put my new hood on last night, this isnt a very good pic at all, it's dirty, and I had to take it with my cell because the wifey had the camera in her car and didnt get home until after dark. I guess just want to see what some people think about it.

looks good, I put mine all the way to the bottom of the front so no red would show. I can't find a pic right now..

Looks good. I like the look of hoods but I like to ride in the dark sometimes. Don't really want to loose my lights.

Get trailtech lights, they mount to your handle bars.

why is it that some hoods on the 400's are short and not fit on all the way like the 450's do?

maby your thinkin about the two different styles. theres the kind like tayler400ex has(99-04) and the newer style like the 450's
(05-07)

It looks like you mounted it up cleanly, but i think you should move it down more so it covers the nose. I think it would look better that way.

Im pretty happy with mine. And the trail tech lights are awesome. Makes me never want to have stock lights again.

I may completely separate the two fender halves, and reattach the hood in the middle (to eliminate the yellow "nose" out front.)
