yes you can but it will take some custom fabrication on the engine mounts

Also wouldn't you have to modify the fuel tank since the 525 is taller than the 500 engine?

If there is a tank issue just get a 07 525 gas tank. I was going to cut the the top engine bracket and fab a new lighter support for the gas tank and plastics

Evasiveone, I thought that the 525 motor was shorter than the 500 motor which allowed for the larger tank. In fact, I know it is shorter. That 525 motor is much smaller than the 500 motor and sits lower in the frame. There should be no tank issue at all....
