Outlaw bars

I am looking at new handelbars for my outlaw, I have been looking at the TAG t5, and the pro taper se. Could anyone tell what bend would be as close to stock as I could get. Thanks

A lot of those 7/8" bars have a bar called ATV bend which will be pretty close to the stock bend (on average) on sport quads. It is usually close to 4 1/2" rise and pretty close on sweep. I actually ordered a set of 1 1/8" Pro Taper Contour bars and a Tag fatbar adapter for my 525 (don't have it yet though) which will put the bars at about 4 1/2" tall. The bars are 3.74" and the adapter adds the extra 3/4" height. It is all a matter or preference though....

Thanks eerhard09, I was also looking at the contours as well. I may go with those as well. Good luck with the 525.

Thanks. I was able to get some numbers on the bars from TRAILTECH.NET. I called to see how much height their bar clamps add and they told me about 1/2 an inch. They said that their mid bend bars with their clamp would be really close to the stock height so I just looked at the dimensions of their mid bend bar and went from there. You can also compare the atv bend to the CR High bend (pretty mich the same usually). There are also several companies out there that make the fat bar adapter. Rockymountainatv has the Tusk brand for $35 but I went with the $45 Tag brand because they were black (I know, bad reason to spend the extra $). Magicracing.com also has a bar, clamp, and pad combo for $99. Shop around, there are a lot of options out there!

I went ahead and ordered the contours and tusk clamp from rocky mountain, I went with the mid bend to get about a 1/2 higher rise.

errhart09 where did you order your tag black bar clamp from?

I just went with the tusk clamps from rockymountain. with the bar pad you cannot even see the clamp any ways.

I want to say Motorcycle-Superstore but I had to modify them a little since they used different sized bolts that do not fit the stock clamp on the Outlaw....
