Tire PSI ?

I have a 400ex w/ sandshark paddles in the rear. What psi should I run in these tires?

I have had these tires before and I ran 3 to 5 psi in them. When the sand was wet I would run 5 in them, but if it was loose then I would run 3 for a little better traction. This seemed to work good for me.

depends on what you want out of them... i run about 7.5 in mine- my buddy runs his at like 15...

15 sounds REALLY high for dunes.

If you just want to show off and throw a big roost, high pressure will do it. It digs into the sand, so it throws tall, but gives you worse performance all around. Poor traction, poor flotation, and slower holeshot.

3-5psi is about the norm.

LOW pressure in the rear and higher pressure in the front is the perfect duning set up. PERIOD.

I have Sandsharks too and in one tire I run about 3-4 pounds and in the other I run zero because it doesn't hold air. The flat one throws some mean roost though. Sucks for wheelies and it pulls the motor down some. I'm buying some Turbo Paddles before I go back again.

3 to 4 pounds is the norm. Some people who use sand stars run much higher pressure to try and make them slide. Basicly they suck balls.

yup...I run 3-4 in my rear SS2's and 5 in the front.
