I plan on jetting and buying a HMF slip-on next month and was wondering about performance? Is it necessary to get a rev box if so what kind? I ride the dunes and trails and thats about it besides up and down my street pissing off my neighbors
I already have a K&N filter w/outerwear.

i dont think its necessary to buy a rev box but if you like you can. if you do get one make sure its a good one and not one that just raises the rev limter.

heres a thread about it..

Get a full system, you'll be much happier.

Used full systems can be picked up for less than $300 in perfect condition either here or on z400central.

If you try real hard you can find good deals.

I bought a new FMF Titanium-4 and Titanium mid pipe for $150 shipped and a used Power Bomb header for 70 shipped. Just have to look around. Guys are dumping after market parts all the time on z400central when they part out there bikes.
