I have been reading that the 450r shocks will fit on the KFX400. Is it a direct bolt on or is there any modifications that need to be done to make them fit? Thanks.

Yes, Direct bolt-on. I have done it myself. Works great.

I did it when I had my stock arms and they were a direct bolt on and they were great compared to my stock 03's

If you put them on, adjust the springs so that it sits as low as it can in the front end. The thing STICKS to the ground.

I have 450r shocks on my 03 z400 and they are a great improvement!

has anyone replaced the 05-07 shocks with 450r shocks. Did you see a difference?
